First Day in Turin

Yesterday was a 17-hour day!  We left Lubeck and went to the Hamburg airport.  From Hamburg, we flew to Frankfurt, and from there to Turin.  We flew over the Alps, which was very nice.

Cristine and I met up with the rest of our group - Val, Darnella, and Stephen.  The hotel is fabulous - the Grand Hotel Sitea.  The rooms are amazing - like no other hotel I've stayed in.  After we checked in, we had a walking tour of the city.  Here are a few photos.  I'll have to label most of them later because I'm not sure what some of them are.

The Shroud of Turin is held at the Cattedrale di Torino.  This photo is of a display about the Shroud.  The actual Shroud is kept behind a curtain, and no photos are allowed.
